If this era of gaming consoles taught us anything, it is the simple fact that Sony and Microsoft could care less about their fans.

For starters, Microsoft and Sony released outdated consoles to the consumers and marketed them as next gen products while failing to achieve next gen capabilties. Microsoft turned their back on gamers with a TV cable inspired Gaming console no one asked for and the sneaky push of DRM content.

Sony disregards their network infrastructure while continue to charge for services that should be free. The sudden push of remasterd content and VR.

Digital games are still 60 bucks compared to the physical copies.

Then we have the release of a PS4K and possible Xbox One within 3 years.

The only reason SONY is charging this gen in the first place is because those fukking retard XBOTS last gen made it the norm to charge for P2P on consoles...If those morons refused to pay and Live wasn't profitable P2P multiplayer would still be free on consoles like it is on PC...

A new GPU is coming out for $379 this year will be much faster than a $1000 GPU that came out last year and dudes bytching about "That's a L!" and other dumb shyt. I'd be mad if the PS4 Neo drops for $150 and is much more powerful than a $400 PS4 but that's not what's happening here.

GPUs dating back 5 to 6 years were doing 1080P breh. My R9 290x came out 2013 and I am getting 30 plus frames on some games with 4K

PS4 controller has that stupid light on it and a touchpad, thats two reasons why it would have less battery life.

A game reaching 60 fps has little to do with the console itself and damn near everything to do with the game developer. 2 generations from now we will still have games running at 30 fps because there will ALWAYS be graphical gains you can achieve by sacrificing the frame rate, ALWAYS.

Dude PC games are doing it with no problem for decades. Console gaming for this reason shouldn't be the forefront for gaming shyt is holding back games.

That still won't defeat Sony and Microsoft not allowing others to sell games digitally and I call that BS as Sony don't have to charge. Sony has sold over 40 million consoles with 90 percent using online services but they are still capping people speeds in 2016

Nobody will be using these PS4 and Xbox after these new consoles are released. PC products also has a high resell value whereas this systems are so cheap that we can give you a 100 dollars toward your new PS4K which won't even be 4k but the blu ray drive.

1. As far as price, people aren't going to pay a premium for a console (PS3) and shareholders don't want to take huge losses up front anymore. So they really aren't going to go all out making the console as up to date spec wise as they were previously.

2. Xbox Live should have been free too, but no one said shyt. Of course everyone else was gonna follow suit. Can't blame Sony when no one complained once the pandora's box was opened.

3. Digital Games are going to be the same as physical since you can't piss off the brick and mortar stores who sell your consoles.

4. Hard drives are easily upgradeable and 500Gb isn't horrible. Def should have been 1 TB though.

5. People buy new phones every year or minimum every other year. The game has changed so it is what is bruh.

That's a console problem.

On average I have paid about $6 per steam game. I bought Street Fighter V for $35 when people on consoles were paying $60. The average price is so low digital on steam that the potential resale value is pointless...you are just wasting time trying to earn anything back.

You guys overpay so much over a console generation and continue to throw out this narrative that PC gaming is so expensive. Yeah if you are trying to play at 4K and such of course it will be, but the slightly higher price entry scares you guys away.
