martin already pretty much summed up the whole story for the show creators so i think they would have known if he becomes important. i like them combining gendry and edric but i dont like the melisandre meeting them brotherhood angle. no big deal tho as long as the main story arcs go down.

I'm sure the writers run these kinds of decisions by George Martin beforehand, to see if it won't be a problem down the road. I don't really care about Edric Storm, although if they wanna replace/merge him with Gendry, that would mean that they somehow know that Gendry is Robert's b*stard even Gendry don't know that lol

I'm just trying to see how they explain Melisandre being in the Riverlands from Dragonstone so quick

I know Martin run the entire plot off to them, but I kinda sucks that we know Storm is pretty irrelevant in the final books imo, if that makes any sense.

Its like the show is spoiling the future books.

thats very true. i read somewhere about how the show is gonna ruin alot of surprises for the book readers, one of them is the whole jon/catelyn thing. idk how far in the books some of u are so ima put it in spoiler tags

theres a theory that after jon gets killed by the nights watch, catelyn is gonna be the one that revives him with the fire kiss the same way beric revived her. she's gonna see him as an opportunity to avenge robb and bran and rickon. it would be an ironic twist since she hates him. the show kinda hinted at this by re-establishing cat/jons relationship in same season cat is gonna get smoked.

its just a theory but i happen to like it and i think its very possible.

This is based off the way they ended Briennes last chapter in aFwC but yet she is alive in the end of aDwD in Jaimes last chapter

They didn't revive there relationship IMO They just made us feel a little sorry for her to make her death that much more crazy. Just my opinion tho. I also dont believe Jon is dead. yea thats true also about him not being dead, usually when they killed off a character they would do it from someone else's perspective. i just like the whole idea of the flame that kept beric dondarrion alive and then catelyn being passed of to jon stark by cat herself. very ironic and shakespearean lol

I'm not saying this is the case of Edric Storm, but don't think that just because the show doesn't debuts a character it means he/she is meaningless to the overall story.

lol true. Just would hate to see a corny moment like that. It will be interesting to see how they handle Lady Stoneheart on the show, because she's not really a "person" now, more like a vengeful spirit. She showed my boy Pod no mercy.

at least it gives us book readers something different to look forward too.

i think only melisandre leaves dragonstone, she probably gonna use the same moped littlefinger was using in season 2 to get around all over the map

in any case, dragonstone and the riverlands arent THAT far from one another. The preview of next week shows melisandre and stannis by the sea, im guessin she leaves next week and probably joins up with the brotherhood after beric vs the hound
