They only show up in the book after Rhaenys dies, since they are secret b*stards of Corlys. They aren't even born yet in the time frame the show is at right now. They are teens during the Dance.

Ser Criston beating a nobleman to death and assaulting Ser Laenor Velaryon during a feast in celebration of the princess’s wedding and no one calling for his imprisonment or death doesn’t make much sense to me.
It doesn't make sense. He should have been arrested immediately.
I'm guessing they are just going to saw Alicent pushed to have him pardoned, and the crown probably paid the Lonmouths restitution. That's about all they could do, but even then it's a stretch that Alicent would go that far out of the limb for him, even if she just wants to use him.
Cole should have a permanent black mark against him and should be looked at as a pariah on the kingsguard.

Pretty much the same way Cole fought Daemon except this time he kills him by cracking his skill through his helmet. There are often fatalities in the tourney but Cole clearly had a motive.
In the show it just looks like cold blooded murder, he also struck Laenor, who is royalty. He would be out to death via torture almost immediately.

Like Daemon said. Viserys’ word is law. He’s the dragon.
He can pardon him. And it’s more than Alicent just getting Cristin on her side, it’s stealing something from her rival. Which is more symbolic and dangerous. That now that she is playing the game, not only does she have her support but she can steal hers.
Viserys is so blinded by the need to keep peace, he let Daemon in after he banished him just to not make a scene so I can see how pardoning his knight would fall under that.
3. That last kid didn't make it and she didn't recover from the birth. I would be kinda be annoyed if they changed it to him killing her.
