I can’t recall such a clear depiction of pedo/grooming in GoT. Even the convo on the beach with Rhaenerya trying to make it seem like it was okay and Daemon was wrong for leaving her as child was weird af by the writers.

This shyt is paralleling the real life Medievel/Middle Ages - these fukkers were disgusting and had no morals. Grooming was probably an every day occurance back then (as seen with the Hightowers and Velaryons proposing their kid daughters to Viserys when his wife died).

This is why I don’t really understand people getting up in arms about the rape, incest, grooming scenes in the show - yeah it’s fukking abhorrent but the people in those times were abhorrent savages. People need to stop watching the show through a lens like it’s set in modern societal norms. If anything it’s a depiction of how fukked up society was back in those times.

Man Corlys weak af.

All this shyt goin down in his house and he just standing there... saying nothing. His own wife tried to talk some sense in him but he's fixated on the NAME when it's already been settled that the rulers will go by TARGARYEN. So not only are his grandsons not of his bloodline, they're gonna rock the Targaryen name on the throne.

Corlys is the biggest disappointment to me on this show by far.

Also quite the CGI already with the Dragons. Guess HBO opened up the cheque books for them right out the gate. Didn't think we'd get this much despite the name of the show . Kinda wanted a longer shot of the squad of 5 dragons chillin on the castle though

But the riding scene was dope. Aemond just straight up carjacked her (didn't know it was a she)

It's funny cuz on social people were trying to shyt on the dragon cgi of the dragons in the first few eps. Wait till they get to to full fledged conflict

Nah that I’m pretty sure that was done on purpose. Maybe they haven’t shown vicerys losing his mind like this in the past but they’ve been showing how his health is diminishing and this is just another thing to show the audience that his time is almost up.

Both rhaneyra and alicent aint shyt and have they’re flaws but I’m rooting for rhaneyra. Alicent and her whole crew is annoying and petty as fukk to me. I’m kinda surprised people are that confused at this. It seemed pretty clear exactly what went down once you saw Laenor on the boat with his dreads cut.
