Chick on the left is the original Danny, she was recast after the first pilot.…ironically I quickly found a pic of her in black and “red” (more so maroon) just by googling her name and not even dress color (idk who the random white bytch on the left is)
…scrolling thru some other pics it looks like she wore a lot of different color dresses that were probably just random and not indicative of anything outside of her family colors

the surgeon was discussing the kid had 0% chance to live and if they open her up she'll have a 10% chance to live
while he and Daemon are discussing this, she doesnt want to leave it to only 10% chance of survival so she chooses to die a dragon riders death, so she leaves while they are discussing it. Their was 0% probability the kid would survive and only 10% for her to survive. She didnt like those odds so she took it into her own hands.

it was “explained” in the episode but I agree it wasn’t enough…she said something along the lines of wanting to die a warrior’s death maybe a few seconds before she just ups and walks in front of the dragon and commands it to burn her…but to me we didn’t get enough characterization to make that line or her death resonate
