Can't say I'm familiar with Condol but I don't envy him for having to clean this franchise up after Weiss and Benioff ran it into the ground.

I think this new series might be alright. The movies Condol wrote for are ass but Colony was an underrated series.

Yeah, I just gave up hope for the books.

He did write books, a bunch of spin offs and shyt, plus a lot of scripts for tv shows. Game of Thrones is gonna remain unfinished, and we have 2 more books to go

The showrunners are Ryan Condal (Colony) and Miguel Sapochnik (director of Battle of the b*stards/Hardhome/Winds of Winter).

They have 6 writers attatched, which is a divergence from Game of Thrones, which had D&D and Cogman as the primary writers for the duration of the show.
