Societal norms or cultural expectations =/= The Law. The kings word is ultimately the law. Vis chose Rhae as his heir and he told her and everyone else that it's on periodt. So anyone going out of their way to undermine or challenge the Kings choice is treasonous. Alicent is manic and overstepping. She's still wearing Hightower colors as a sign of rebellion against the house of Targaryen, she planting seeds of discord amongst the children and she is conspiring with Sir Simpalot all because Rae had a hot girl summer 10 fukking years ago. She needs to be mad at Otto and not Rhae for how her life turned out.

Nah fam, Rhaenrya lies pretty much caused her dad to lose his position as the hand and be exiled. Alicent said she believed Rhae did nothing wrong in the city that night on her momma soul. In turn making Otto's report from the snitch to Viserys be looked upon by the king as a bullshyt lie. Add to that Otto pushing Alicent onto the king and having kids. Of course Viserys gonna throw Otto in the bushes, especially after Alicent saying she believed hoe ass Rhae.

She told one of them half truths. Basically Alicent was asking the wrong question.

Instead of asking "Did you fukk your uncle?" She's should have asked "Who did you fukk?"

I'm not alleviating Rhae of being a piece of shyt because she should have been more honest. But Alicent needs to back off the high and mighty shyt especially with a son who's a fukkin degenerate.
