That's why I'm laughing at anyone who thinks people will just blindly be behind her being queen. She is too outlandish and doesn't respect anything

I thought Allicent and Criston were the only ones making sense. Those kids are obviously not Laenor's. Rhaenyra's offer to wed Allicent's weird daughter to her eldest b*stard was insulting.

"Oh, your son is the rightful heir, since I have no true born heirs... but I'll cut you a deal. Wed your only, trueborn daughter to her b*stard nephew, and she can be the powerless queen consort! Doesn't that sound grand?"

Allicent did her duty. She wed a man twice her age, gave him three legitimate children, and took care of him faithfully throughout his illness. Rhaenyra is a spoilt brat. She had the throne, everything she could have asked for, but that wasn't good enough. She could have had any appropriate suitor she wanted, even Ser Harwin, but she rejected them all.

Then she was wed to Ser Laenor, but decided to make out with her uncle at the wedding. Then couldn't even make sure that her heir, her eldest child, was a trueborn. She has refused to do her duty over and over, thinking only of her own desires. She would make a horrible ruler.

This series can't continue this fast pace. I know they want to get to the "main conflict". But they need to slow down. We aren't getting the character depth of the OG show, because they're rushing through story.

from what i was told.. they are not rushing it. The series wasn't originally gonna start where they started.

What would most likely happen though is Alicent being queen when the king dies, the people will want the king’s first born son to rule. Going against the king’s order but with tradition of the land

In order to squash either claim to the throne, you kill the other person’s kids. So everything they’re doing now, is about that

Just watched, I will say that all of this is Viserys and to some extent Corlys fault.

Viserys cuz he’s been playing blind while his daughter is birthing b*stards. Corlys because he thought it was a good idea to wed his gay son to Rhaenyra. Also Corlys is a bad father because he ain’t tell his son to at least nut in his wife from time to time to bring him a true heir.

Corlys did all this posturing to have a Velaryon on the throne only to end up with three grandsons that ain’t of his blood. How is he not pissed as well? And why did he let his daughter wed Daemon?!? He knows Daemon well and that he’s a terrible husband. Maybe it was a pure Valyrian blood play…

Brehs Corlys lookin funny in the light. This nikka fukked up his whole lineage with these bonehead moves.

Lastly, this show got the worst kept secrets. Everyone knows that Harwin’s child and everyone knows who Laenor’s gay lovers are.

Exact same points can be made about Tywin Lannister in the OG story too. He knew Cersei and Jamie were fukking and produced three kids that looked nothing like Robert Baratheon. He pushed Jamie away from being his heir too. He stepped up to clean up the mess though. Will the Seasnake?

He was gettin ALL the tea sitting among the powerful elite women because they didn’t see him as a threat bein disabled.

This is no different than Lord Varys having all the tea in Game of Thrones because he wasn’t seen as a threat bein a Eunuch

Alicent’s dad lost his job cuz Rhaenyra is a thot. Rhaenyra can’t even throw her dad a bone and be a respectable heir. Smh

I been Team Alicent since she rocked the Green dress. But I like Rhaenyra too. The show’s done a good job at making both likeable. Cersei on the other hand was an unbearable c*nt.

Why would she ever trust Rhaenyra knowing how she is getting down with all these different men?

This is literally what Cersei did with Jaime only now you don't have people like Ned to gaslight you into thinking this behavior is bad so you unconsciously take Rhaenyra's side because what? She's an empowered woman
