Game Graphics that blew ya mind at the time

Gears of War and Splinter Cell (especially chaos theory). CT had me thinking I was already in the next gen. Also, Uncharted 2 was fukking beautiful.

Other games that blew my mind:

Halo CE
Fifa 2001
NFL 2K
NBA 2K

it's crazy looking back on all of these games minus Gears and Uncharted and seeing how outdated they are, but at the time they looked incredible.

NLF2k, you could see the actual faces of the players and they were the real faces.

breh, when you first get to that one city and your standing on the hill overlooking it (after the helicopter fight I think) I just stood there for about 10 mins in awe. Wifey walked in, looked and was like "what movie you watching?"

The snow scenes had me tripping...it was so good. There were so many times during different levels where I would just look around at the scenery.

The first nba2k to come out for the 360, i think it was 2k6 I remember had a commercail that came on the nba channel. And It was the first time players would show any sweat or they shorts moved as they dribbled. It was such a massive leap from the xbox and ps2 basketball games I couldnt beleive it.
