But fox haven't made one good "x-men" movie
I think doing a solo Gambit movie before puttin him on the team is a bad move.
I dunno, I think Fox maybe feeling themselves too much due to the success of Days of Future Past, and think they can do whatever they want with the X-Men properties again. They need to be like Marvel and have 1 person be the head of all X-Men related movies so that they at least are all together sense. Bryan Singer would be a good choice for that role. At the very least he understands the core essence of the X-Men.If they casted him this early then he is definitely appearing in Apocalypse hell maybe even in Deadpool, maybe he'll be one of the horsemen
: In a move that makes official that the X-Men character Gambit is getting his own spinoff movie with Channing Tatum as the card-savvy protagonist, Fox has set Robocopscribe Josh Zetumer to write the screenplay. The studio has officially attached Tatum as star, and to produce with his Free Association partner Reid Carolin, The Donners Company’s Lauren Shuler Donner, and Genre Films’ Simon Kinberg.
The screenplay will be based on a treatment penned by legendary Marvel Comics writer Chris Claremont, who with Jim Lee created the character for Marvel in 1990. The storyline is being kept under wraps. The character, which also goes by the name Remy LeBeau, has the ability to charge matter with volatile kinetic energy, causing the object in question to explosively release its charge on impact. The character materialized in a short burst in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Tatum and Carolin are currently producing Magic Mike XXL, which was written by Carolin, with Tatum once again starring. Tatum will next be seen starring in Bennett Miller’s Foxcatcher, and he has a headlock on Oscar buzz for his role as Olympic champion wrestler Mark Schultz since that film premiered at Cannes. Zetumer along with Tatum, Carolin and their company are repped by UTA and Management 360.

wordNah The Last Stand and Wolverine: Origins humbled them. I Don't think they'll just outright throw out some bulkshyt ESPECIALLY with Marvel and DC clamoring for Comic film supremacy. Fox ONLY has the Xmen properties and Fantastic Four so they cannot afford to fukk up right now. They've got a ton of good will going for them thanks to First class and DOFP so I think they'll keep quality in mind from here on out.
One good sign was them actually not rushing to throw out a Deadpool movie and waiting until they got a good script together
