There are multiple translations. The most common English translation would be the one commissioned by Kings James...the 1611. Whats the point tho? If you dont rock with the English language, you realize we can read the same texts word for word....character by character in Greek and even Paleo Hebrew....which language would you prefer?
That's what I'm saying, it just doesn't make sense for a Black person to follow a religion derived from Middle Eastern Judaism interpreted by Western Europeans in 2022

Around the same time there was Roman paganism, Norse paganism, early Hinduism all with corroborated sources and "evidence"; you'd look at a breh crazy for praising Thor and reciting the Eddas, but Jesus and the Bible gets a pass?

I noticed you didn't answer the question. :sas2:

If man messed the world up, why were there no mention of bacteria anywhere in the bible? Show me the verse that mentions bacteria, something that would have existed in, say, Noah's days at least.

I'll wait.

Now you're trying to dance around the facts. I'll leave you to it.

You making the common assumption that black folk were not originally in that region. Israelites were fleeing into Africa to blend in with the natives over and over. Moses blended in....Joseph blended in. Jerusalem falling in 70ad...nikkas fled to Africa. These were melanated people....Paul was in Europe yet he repped the tribe of Benjamin. The Hellenized jew kept their culture and it was not that b*stardized religion "Judaism"...we dont need no Talmud to understand the Torah.

The Maccabean revolt were Israelites trying to fight of the cacification aka hellenization of their culture

We dont fukk with Norse, Hinduism, etc because those are doctrines for those particular nations.

Psalm 147:19-20

19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.
20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord.

Once we stop attributing the people of the book to other nations...we can look at the text differently

Egalitarianism is a nice concept, also a great tool to spread a belief; also how Muslims and countless other sects like Branch Davidians, the People's Temple, etc. took advantage of poor minorities

If we all fled to Africa, wouldn't we have left any trace? I know cacs destroy evidence of civilization all the time, but why weren't there ANY temples, Bibles before colonization, etc. plus, it would've been corroborated by oral traditions too.

And again, if we all fled and blended in, seems like the Hebrews fully assimilated to local customs, I'm pretty sure I got some native american in me, but I'm not gonna hang on to something that's deracinated

Question: Why weren't there any temples?

The 12 tribes of Israel were already scattered. The Northern tribes got the ass beat first by the Assyrian empire. They were done. The souther tribes (Levi, Benjamin & Judah) remained in Jerusalem till 70 ad. There were no temples left...peep the book I posted above. You can see the invaders destroying and pillaging everything from Judea.

Question: Wouldnt we have any trace left?
TMH said he would keep a remnant...the punishment for falling away from the law was that Israelites would get destroyed...lose they culture...they language, lose their heritage...but for a limited time. TMH will restore them...so according to the text they wont be FULLY assimilated, but many will be.

Isaiah 10:21-22

21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God.
22 For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.

I'm not going to argue with anybody that doesn't want to listen.
Especially on the internet. Have a good one.

Oh no, you will not be getting the last word here, especially with that passive aggressive sass. :mjlol:

I asked you a question, and you ducked it.

Fair enough-- I gave you credit for admitting defeat quickly.

You can't stand on your beliefs, that's all I needed to show everyone here. You can't point to a verse in your book that mentions the single most abundant form of life on this planet, yet you believe your god created all life.

It just slipped his mind to mention it anywhere in that book. I get it-- your god ain't perfect :sas1:

We're in a hologram that we simultaneously project as we experience it. The hint is spacetime is pixelated hence the Game of Souls has very good graphics.

Something cant come from nothing ofcourse God created
Breh I’m not even atheist but this same argument can be made about God :unimpressed:

Everything came from No-thing :francis:

And I thought the Big Bang Theory always was BS for decades. Nothing bout it makes sense to me. Not sure if this source is credible or not but I don’t know how scientists even believe that nonsense :hhh:
