What kinds of clothes should Black men wear to avoid being harassed by police?

I'm glad you brought up that example. What black father hasn't told their son how to act around the police? How you're not supposed to make any sudden movement? How everything should be yes sir and no sir?

Nobody is saying that a women who dresses in a sexually provative manner DESERVES to be raped. We're just telling women to exercise better judgment. Same way every black parent lets their young child know how they should act around cops cause we know they are trying to kill us.

Same thing if you have a daughter you better train her to treat every male as a potential sexual predator. As a result she should never put herself in a position to be raped. Just like our parents taught us how to act around cops so we don't get killed.

This is about preventing bad things from happening. Not making excuses for the criminals who do bad things. Stop flipping this conversation like cacs always try to do.

No it isn't.
Ahh yes it is.

A woman's choice in clothing is one factor that may have a direct effect on the probability of her being sexually assaulted // a black person's behavior during an encounter with police is one factor that may effect the probability of that encounter becoming deadly.

While it would be prudent advise our loved ones to dress (act) appropriately, it does not excuse a predator from raping (officer from murdering).

:snoop: you rapists and child predators stay exposing y'allselves

Nope. Cacs who were NOT raised by a strong black mother are exposing themselves.

Everybody knows how a modest woman dresses versus one looking for male attention. Strong black parents raise their kids like Gabby Douglas. To know that if you dress like a whore you'll get treated like one.

Just like every black parents tells their young black boy how to behave around the police. I go off the assumption every cop is a racist trying to kill me. And similarly I will raise my daughter to view every male as a potential sexual predator who wants to rape them thus teaching them to behave properly in this society. And that starts with dressing modestly and never going out by herself to a place where men looking for p*ssy will be hanging out.

OK, I just understood her tweet.

Her tweet had nothing to do with Aly situation with USA team doctor. (I swear some of you nikkas don't even read the story.)

She was responding to Aly random tweet that basically said women shouldn't be treated like hoes. Even though they dress like a hoe. :yeshrug:

Gabby response was basically the Dave Chappelle "Hoe Uniform" comment. :yeshrug:

Looking back through her Twitter, Aly has been getting hate for not being the perfect victim because of how she's dressed since, appearing in the ESPN body issue, etc -- that's why she made the comment she did. It wasn't random (though no, women and little girls shouldn't be attacked or molested no matter how they're dressed; they aren't ever "asking" for that).

Gabby really should of just pulled those fingers in and stayed out of it.

Exactly.

These fools in here caping are acting like we're saying if a woman gets raped that the rapist should be let go cause she dressed like a whore. No the rapist deserves to be punished. We just telling the young woman that the next time she goes out, she should dress more modestly so she can REDUCE the chances she'll be raped by another monster.

Same way every black parent tells their child to behave around police office because we know they are trying to kill us. So I'm not gonna give them an excuse to kill me by acting a certain way. Similarly I'm gonna make sure my daughter dresses modestly so she doesn't put herself in a situation where she'll be raped because dressing like a hoe increases those odds just like acting reckless around cops increases the changes they'll murk ya.

Just not the right thing to say honestly, women should be allowed to wear whatever without the consequence of being raped. This is literally the definition of slut shaming (and I hate that term) and how the premise of the annual slut walk started until Amber Rose hijacked it and made it to some other shyt.

She can't be that stupid to post that

But nobody is making excuses, Gab wasn't making excuses for anyone. Responses like these make me think some of you live in a false reality all for the purpose of "I shouldn't have to..."

For those of us that live in reality, we realize there are threats out there and we'll attempt to do what we can to prevent such threats from being realized. So yes some people do think that women should be self aware of their clothing to not attract that type of energy, and if you don't think parents are telling their kids, especially their sons how to behave when approached by cops then you are fooling yourself. Should they have to? No, but that isn't the world we live in breh.

It's funny how a lot of new nikka, wanna be conscious, fake liberal folks throw that "shaming" word around so freely until someone hits them with opposing cultural and social beliefs.

Are y'all really for free thinking, or is free thinking only cool as long as it falls in line with whatever new cause y'all on now?

I will never understand why people act like its wrong to tell women to watch how they dress. This doesn't mean we are caping for rapists or victim blaming.

Am I still a piece of shyt if my reasoning for telling them this is that I'm looking out for their well being?
