You're white so feelings were caught.
I'm not catching feelings, she just looks like she would be into cacs and that quote confirms it.

I agree with Gabby said....It just got misconstrued. Were living in a feminist society now where rules have changed, ways of thinking have altered and old traditions are no more.

Hell, its a reason why "Slut Walk" has become an actual thing

Her message isn't going to fly in because of those very reasons. Race also comes into play as well whether yall want to ignore it or not.

I do understand that covering up isn't going to step any woman from getting rape. But when you wear skimpy outfits out in public, its gonna put thoughts into a man's head that he's giving the green light to have access to her body. Its like the one time I went to the club, I've seen this black chick wearing nothing but fishnets with a thong on. Her breast were completely exposed and she was attracting alot of attention and it lured men towards her direction all night.

She didn't at all seem uncomfortable when they were touching on her...she was enjoying it. But we gotta understand, that every woman isn't going to allow that and have every right to not get sexually harrassed and assaulted as of a result.

what do you expect, most of the posters on here are either white or don't have fathers, which is why they are out here defending this type of behavior.

call yourself a slut and hoe, dress in underwear and then get mad that a guy gets the wrong message and gropes you

You went Google searching off of my post and now delving into my name.

You're hurt and looking for answers. You're not built to troll. Scurry along.
google searching takes like literally 2 seconds, you act like I'm going to the library of alexandria searching through hundreds of thousands of ancient scrolls. googling something requires almost no effort.

Ahh the old "it takes little effort to google" response. Point is, you read my post and went to google because your little cac feelings were hurt. "Almost no effort" isnt "no effort". Those who aren't hurt, keep it moving.

You're a troll crying about ad hominem attacks. You're no longer a troll. You're now bothered.

Because you're doing too much. I'm a man but that doesn't mean I lack an understanding of how rape works. The ironic part is that you're the one who seems confused despite being a woman.

You keep trying to boil Aly's response down to a few words to fit your agenda, but she literally had a two paragraph quote in support of Gabby. Not sure why you keep brushing over that.

But fine, let's assume that Aly is passive aggressive towards Gabby: that still doesn't make Gabby any less wrong in this situation. Their history is irrelevant in a discussion about whether women can be blamed for being the victim of sexual assault depending on their clothing.

Plenty of women dress in revealing clothing, take naked pics, and act on her sexuality. None of that makes it okay for someone to assault or rape them. It's simple.

You're very controlling.

You attach Gabby's words to green lighting sexual assault and then try to accuse others of conflation...you can't have it both ways.

What's wrong with telling young women to dress modestly instead of provocatively?

Since you're a man you think that Gabby's words are somehow new...they're not.

Mothers have been teaching their daughters to be modest for years! And as far as I know most women aren't teaching their sons it's ok to be rapists and that it's ok to sexually assault women. Are you saying that mothers who tell their daughters to dress modestly are also blaming them for sex assault?

Now social movements are preaching to young women really confusing messages....one way is through athletes like Raisman who continues to preach "wear what you like..it don't matter!" why posing naked (at the request of men btw, Sports Illustrated being a magazine created for the pleasure of men, by men, with men taking the photos and determining how a woman should express their sexuality, which apparently again, is for the pleasure of men).

No matter how many social justice types like yourself get paid to push a message like this...that there is no place for modesty...won't change the fact that some times it's just smart to be conscious to how you're present yourself and the message you're sending.

"Controlling" and "social justice types" ehh? This is more nonsense but I'll go ahead and dip out of this conversation to save us both some time. Only certain types of people use the phrase "social justice" in that way.

Jesus you are all over the place.

Certain energy meaning... what? Catcalls and flirting? Or rape and assault?

Slut energy, period. Dress like a slut expect the world to treat you like one. Becky's feelings on the topic don't change the fact that the world will address you by how you present yourself. Modest dressing women unfortunately getting raped as well does not change the fact that society will also generally treat women by how they present themselves outwardly.

Controlling a trigger word now lol....

Have mercy.

Aren't you part of a social justice group? How is that offensive?
