G Unit, D12 & the St Lunatics all have Platinum albums, Diplomats do not. Was their fame exaggerated?

Yes, Cam'ron at his peak was like 2x plat in the peak sales era. Compared to Nelly, 50, Em, of course he's crews gonna sell way less too

Diplomats and G-Unit were an actual movements.

Crazy impactful music and projects coming from both camps back then. Nobody cares about Eminem's and Nelly's sidekicks, lol. All of those dudes knew that if the lead ever dropped them, they would vanish. Which they all have. Nelly and Em were basically doing charitable work by dropping group albums with those other bums.

RIP Proof.
