Bruh, this is a movie and they're actors. Their job is to react to G Money making the shot. The director isn't going to keep doing takes until Allen Payne actually makes the shot. They were probably planning on doing a cut shot to the ball going in, and later somehow used this shot in the final edit because it looked like it went in. Goofs like that happens.
