And you are absolutely right about most being laid back and cooperative. People don’t really understand the connection between human greed and the effects it had in human socialization.

Human greed is what drives most of the more violent, selfish aspects of human behavior and that became codified much later in human history after the shift to agrarian societies. Hoarding surplus or greed is the beginning of our economic systems (capitalism vs communism), gender imbalance, poverty, war, and current environmental crisis.

Hunter-gatherer societies were the predominate way in which humans organized themselves for most of history. The concept of civilization is a very recent phenomenon in human history. When a baby is born into this world its physiology is designed for a world that existed thousands of years ago. Our minds and bodies were never meant for living in this modern world which is why so many people feel a deep rooted disconnect. We're social beings that have evolved to thrive in close knit and egalitarian communities. Our evolution hasn't caught up with how we presently organize our societies.

What Humanity has become is essentially a very sick and demented version of itself.

If we're being honest this whole alpha/beta male thing arose from the decadence of this system of modern day capitalism. The alpha male archetype is really just a cool term for psychopath. And lot of the CEOs and elites we admire so much have psychopathic traits. Our obsession with "alpha" males is the end result of individualism taken to its highest extreme. Societies eventually erode when such types of people rule. It isn't sustainable.

In truth humans, in our natural element are a rather docile, laid back and cooperative species. In many primitive tribes such people with these psychopathic traits were admonished from the group because even they recognize the danger they posed. In some cases they were out right snuffed out with a rock to the back of the head or a spear to the chest.

Yep, American society pushes everything to the extreme and then tries to justify it once we realize it’s not how shyt really is.

Same with materialism. I’m high and can’t explain what I mean by this right now but yeah.


Put an average American “beta male” in a society that is more timid and isn’t so in love with that crazy psychopathic mindset, and you’ll realize the difference the base nature is like you said, docile and laid back.

Far as humans go, yea some do more to exert dominance while others are more passive. But even that doesn’t mean shyt because the most passive dude will eventually become more than the so called alphas when he gets tired of getting pushed around.
