Paperboi being a suspect in the club shooting
Dudes looking to kill Paperboi


and the season still ended alright

They probably set all that up for next season, this season was to introduce us to all the characters and get us used to the fukkery that they will bring. Next season they have a lot to work with and hopefully with more episodes in the season like 12 or 13

Almost feels like they were shooting their best shot in an attempt to get picked up for another season rather than trying to make the normal story arc.
