Thats the BEST episode to give someone an overall feel for what the show is and the themes tackled.
Atlanta, even though it has kind of a “hazy” vibe to it, is pretty linear in its storytelling. Its better to just start at ep 1 than to skip around

I always prefer starting from the jump myself.... I enjoyed the first episode even tho episode 2 is what really had me hooked.
My cousin says B.A.N. is the best episode to start with and I'm not mad at that.
We had some people over who never seen it so that's what started it, we actually ended up watch Alligator Man first cause they wanted to see Katt
I think B.A.N. is too surreal an episode to start with. Better start with something a lil grounded

I get the impression that they film these quick though - rumour is that Mandalorian Season 2 was shot right around the time Season 1 was airing.
Season 3 & 4 will be filmed back to back. I wouldn’t be surprised whatsoever if Season 4 is the final season of Atlanta
