Atlanta is geared toward young (black) people. Curb resonates with a wide audience but clearly has an older demographic who is used to waiting for entertainment/are set in their ways and will wait for what they know and love as opposed to looking for the next thing. Young people, trends move fast, what’s hot one year is passé the next. I think it’s a valid argument to wonder if people who were 18-34 loving this show when it dropped in 2016 are still going to care in 2021 when they’re five years older
I am (as are many others in this thread). And I can't wait for season 3 whenever it comes out.
As long as the show is quality people will tune in whenever. There's not many adult black shows on network tv to begin with so it doesn't have much competition.
