This what a great episode and made me think about my daughter getting ready to go into the 6th grade. shyt was naaaaaasty when I was in the 6th grade. Was like like gladiator school. I can only imagine this generation.
Atlanta got me with this episode. Salute to Donald Glover.
When my man announced the kid killing himself I legit got sad.
He handed a grown man his leftovers.Bibby got the fukkin nerve to ask for a tip?!
That's crazy.I did some photography work for a HS Graduation last week and the rep from the school told me that a few days prior a Senior committed suicide and hopefully the mood of the night wouldn't be too somber. I thought about the throwback episode from this season, and while it wasn't really common like that in black schools in the timeframe that the episode was in, I understand why they had that episode in 2018.
This is a new age of kids... I can't imagine the thought process of doing that when you really just about to start the rest of your life
shyt is crazy
I have anktber theory.
I think she was suffering from malnutrition or food deprivation. There are alot of black kids that go unfed in their households. If you notice how perky she was in that last scene, she was carrying a fast food bag of some sort.
Food deprivation can lead to mood swings and general irritability.
I ain't mad at more VanSeason 3 will feature more Female Centric
Stories
I think the city of Atlanta has a lot of stories from the woman's perspective," writer-producer Stephen Glover, and Donald Glover's brother, told The Hollywood Reporter.
Coming off of its second season, Atlanta still has more stories to tell, and some of them may include more women taking the lead.
"I think we have some cool ideas in season three that’ll put some more women on screen," Atlanta writer and producer Stephen Glover — younger brother of creator Donald Glover — told The Hollywood Reporter at the show’s For Your Consideration event. "There’s a very specific perspective from the Atlanta woman that I think we’re gonna explore in season three."
For the past two seasons, the show has been primarily male-dominated, both onscreen and in the writers room.
