So its official

Season 1 >>>>> Season 2 by a huge margin

They severely underused Darius this season and they had less home runs than season 1. There were no episodes that felt like filler on the first season.

Paperboy was also in a funk for most of this season kind of half jaded n shyt. The social commentary was better on the first and even the random moments were better. Just revisiting nobody beats the biebs and its packed full of non stop fukkery. I personally felt like the pacing on season 2 was a bit off on most of the episodes, they don't really move as fluidly. Tracy didn't add much and I got his role but he wasn't compelling enough to take time away from the rest of em like the episode where he goes for the interview with the durag. It was a long set up and the climax wasn't great.

Still loving the series but it's clear Season 1 is way superior. The episode where Darius goes on the television interview for example could have been viewed as random or filler but it was one of the best even with the random ads they placed in it like the dude with the charger not to mention the transracial breh:laff:

I can't wait for more though.

Al tells him that he saw what he did with the gun, its the first thing he says to him on the plane

He saw that he got rid of the gun.... But he didn't know exactly what he did with it... Cuz when dude was tellin em that the white boy got caught they was all shocked except earn... Then earn leaned over and told paperboy what he did... :patrice:

Nah, even Earn was shocked that Clark was on the plane. That's why he leaned over to say he put it in Clark's bag, his plan didnt work.

Eh, the money he was spending was the money to get everything situated so they can leave for a 2 month tour in Europe.

He clearly was cheap when hiring the movers. Had to pay an extra $50 because he went cheap and they were taking a lunch break.

Darius paid for the passport.

The point was, like his pops said on the series premiere, when he wants to do something he'll do it. This episode aside, think about all the money he earned and burned this season just to turn around ask about cheaper schools. Van's last text was her considering moving home with her mom, she's trying to cut spending and take measures to ensure this is a reality for Lottie. Maybe Earn will do the same next season but let's be real he didn't do it this season of this episode.

I know there is a well known lawyer in ATL, Jewish, I believe, who represented Gucci in his federal case, and now is like the go to guy for everyone in the game. Migos, Rich The Kid, all the upcoming ATL guys use him.

"Flight ain't leaving without Clark County" :deadmanny:

Edit: The scene as Earn sees the gun is clearly shot in a way that says he didn't plan for that, and he knew he would lose "everything" if he didn't act quickly. He couldn't miss the flight, or get caught with the gun. The music and the way they show his face telegraphs all that. He's on the verge of a breakdown, but pulls through.

Yea, that slow beep was a call back to earlier in the episode when Van texted him as Darius rings the bell. He knew he wasn't gonna take 2 loses in 1 day and had to act quick.

I think that's the point to the entire Robbin Season to act quick, like when them dudes robbed Paper Boi. Every choice is done within seconds that can change your life. Every robbery or heist that happened this season happened in seconds. Paper Boi explained it nicely at the end too. Robbin is survival. And when you're black it's the only way, whether it be sticking up Al for his money/chain or planting a gun on someone else to get on a plane that's leading to good money (Crabs In A Barrel). Earn learned that lesson. Al and Darius also learned to not take life for granted cause someone can rob you of it at any second.

Tracy trying to break into the house was the perfect final shot. You know he's gonna squat in that empty house. :dead:

It's crazy how Earn was walking past his old job in the airport and the sign in the back said "Earn Miles Forever". Then on the plane Al has that talk with Earn basically confirming that he has his back. It took me back to the previous episode how their mothers told them to always look out for each other
Breh...:wow: :ohhh:

I just assumed Darius has a few side hustles after watching the episode in Season 1 when he helped Earn get some money from the cane corso breeding
Yea, but he said this episode that Al will always make sure his people are eating. So he must be making money off Paper Boi too. Hype Man would make the most sense.
