Al chose family:wow:

He still listening to his mama:wow:

Earn F I N A L L Y got a W :wow:

It’s testament to how great this show is that my heart straight DROPPED when i realized he still had that gun. :wow:

Yea I thought it was over for him. The show did a good job of serving Earn Ls every episode I almost believed he would end up losing it all right when he had the chance to see the world

But even Earn finally decided he’d take control of his own fate at that moment instead of giving up

Great ending :salute:

And Tracy finally got what he deserved :banderas:

I love the subtle foreshadowing of Paperboi telling Darius to pass the joint to Earn, the same way Paperboi passed the joint to Darius at the start of the season after those two were beefing. I knew right then that all was forgiven between Paperboi and Earn even if Earn didn't see it.

Also, Earn had ulterior motives. I don't think it was even by accident that he brought the gun, I think what his uncle said about "needing it for the music business", he finally understood its purpose and wanted to set Clark up (or at least the manager would do) simply because he didn't want to be in the outs. He knew County Clark was in the way, and Paperboi was talking with his manager. In the first episode, he told his uncle of his eventual fear of Paperboi would fire him because he was no longer needed. So, I think that whole gun swap was premeditated. I just did not think he thought that Clark was going to play it off like he did and have his manager take the fall instead. Either way, it was a win for Earn, because he damn sure wasn't trying to lose his spot. That's why that whole shyt didn't faze him nor why he didn't panicked like we normally see him in tight situations.

Also another thing. Paperboi always been a straight up dude. I think even though he was pissed at Earn at that pajama party, he low-key was REALLY pissed at Tracy, but wasn't going to tell or show Earn. I even think he was more pissed at the way Tracy beat him down like that and bullying and in part probably was proud that Earn finally stood up for himself. I think a lot of it had to do with the following FUBU episode when it was about bullying and how that one kid committed suicide along with their parents telling that they both have to stick together always because they are all they got. I think that's why in this last episode, is why he forgave Earn because at the end of the day he is family and the only person he CAN trust and why he never told Tracy that not only they'll be away for two months on tour, but that he was moving out. After that stint, it was pretty much "fukk Tracy".

THAT’S why he was so uptight about them making it to the airport on tike. So they’d meet up with Clark and Lucas:ohhh:

Only flaw in that theory is that Earn had been trying tonget rid of the gun. Thats why he tried to sneak leave it in one of Al’s storage boxes...

Its probably too dangerous a plan for Earn to have premeditated. Remember he was on probation. One false move and he’s caught. with an unlicensed weapon. At an airport. TRYING to leave the country...

Naw I don’t think Earn would risk all of that...

What Al was saying with that speech is what a lot of rappers have but we don't see it at face level. Earn will always have his best interest even though he continues to fukk up

How many rappers who are arrested for guns and drugs get off? Because they homie take the fall.

Watch next season we'll see the cac manager was let go by the police, Earn and Clark know they cannot avoid this if it was them, that's why even clark said fukk his manager

The Nigerian shyt is funny too because many do fail but their families refuse for them to fail, they are afford opportunity while being expected not to fail

I think the Jewish boy ( who was blatantly being too honest) was suppose to be symbolize how some modern cacs are changing and understanding what people call today "white privilege"

The teacher honestly only being provided if she sees hope in the child while knowing the others will fail due to their surrounding. Nothing to both of them that the number one thing black kids need is a 2 parent household. Seeing Earn and Van compliment one another while Van decides she going back to her mom because she cannot afford to wait for Earn to be the father he needs to be

You giving the white boys too much credit. An acknowledgment of white privilege does not equate to one desiring to change said privilege. Why in the WORLD would you willingly work towards changing a system that was stacked in your favor?

Earn asked the guy to be honest, and he was. “Black people don’t have the connections” wasn’t uttered apologetically, it was said as a simple statement of fact.

That shyt at the Jewish passport place truer than a bytch. You can be as smart and knowledgeable as you want, but if you ain't got connections your growth is limited. We face that shyt everyday.

Bruh, that so true..on the creative side of the entertainment business AND the legal side as well (I'm facing both right now) As someone black you're facing an uphill battle from Day 1

What a dope season finale :wow_hmm:

I was on the edge of my seat towards the end I knew something was about to go wrong. When Earn forgot he had the hammer in his bag my heart dropped like :damn:this nikka can’t stop fukkin up

But Earn with the savagery:gladbron: he was so slick with it. That was like the second W he’s gotten since he got the money from those puppies:pachaha:

Clack County is the definition of a wolf in sheeps clothing:picard: but it was his cac manager that took the fall so:ehh:

Imma miss this show:mjcry:

Who knows when the next season is coming since the whole cast doing big things now at least we getting a new gambino album soon

I guess I’ll watch season 1 over again I haven’t seen it since it first aired :francis:

No I fully believe that is bullshyt and would never happen in real life but I do believe Donald put that in their to say the message is being spread that these folks know what's up

Jew boy never said shyt about changing it, :russ: I knew I shouldn't have left the part where just because he knows of said privilege means he'll do anything to change it

Wait time will probably be similar to last time. Everyone was working on big things last time as well. I give it around a year or a year and a half.
