it was incredible because it showed just how different life is for black and white people. But whose fault is it? We impose the high, materialistic standards on ourselves to be honest. On some real shyt, there were times i'd go out with my white roommates in college and never did they comment or put down shyt i wear. If anything theyd think i was overdressed for certain occasions. To have those grown adults saying how "important" clothes were without knowing what caused the kid's suicide. Very profound...and real. My parents were the same way making us dress up in certain ways for occasions against our will.
