This article from IndieWire confirms that Donald played Teddy Perkins and also confirms that Benny was really the brother

It turns out the “Atlanta” creator’s appearance did the same for the actors on set of the Hiro Murai-directed episode. Vulture spoke with Derrick Haywood, the actor who played Teddy’s brother Benny Hope, and he said he didn’t even recognize Glover at first during filming.

This episode feels more like twin peaks than any other one to date though

What an episode, great Direction by Hiro Murai and Glover as Teddy was just as creepy as it needed to be.

Champaign Papi? Drake appearance? He posted Glover on his IG last year.

All they’ve said officially is that it’s Drake inspired. Wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he popped up to smash Van and hand Earn the L of ALL L’s....

Glover has a talent for shyt like this. I remember being blown away by the Telegraph Ave video and its Thriller influence.

He's at a point where people enjoy the show so much, the content doesn't really matter. He can make a full episode of 2 old white women sewing and it'd be nikkas loving it and breaking down it's symbolism.

Thats why its funny when dudes be talking about filler. The show aint really bout shyt to begin with to even have filler.

This was one the worse episode i've seen period. The best part was the drive thru and "U mad" hat.

Nothing redeemable about it. I find nothing enjoyable or fascinating about wacko MJ or dark weird shyt.
