Fuuuck Jamaican restaurants!! I can’t do it no more!

3pm called a Jamaican spot about 20min from my house. Wanted to make sure they had patties b4 I made the drive. Nobody picks up, called 3 Times.

My wife had errands to run in the area so we took a chance to stop by.

Walk in the spot and there is 1 customer and 2 workers. I walk up to the counter and ask if they have any chicken patties and of course she’s like no only beef. So then I’m like I called b4 I came and nobody was picking it up is the phone working? She’s says yes it’s working but she was so busy she couldn’t get to the phone, I literally said out loud BUSY there’s nobody here!!!

She then just says no more patties and I’m fukking flummoxed!

No offers to make more. No I’m sorry sir I couldn’t get to the phone. Nothing!

Basically she was like fukk you fukk your money you want what’s left or not??

So I grabbed my wife and left.

Why do Jamaicans run such shytty ass businesses??? I only know of one Jamaican spot that has great customer service.

Sadly a lot of Jamaican food restaurants are notorious for bad front facing staff.

Add onto the fact the food is delicious but takes so long to make up and you have a recipe for low foot traffic and scared off customers.

Word. Shytty customer service is part of the Jamacain Spot experience. OP sounds like a tourist.

I know ZERO Chinese spots with great customer service. Unless your a white dude then the woman behind the counter offers to blow u with your fortune cookie
