in 20 years are kids going be zombies :snoop:

Both such a win for the culture (white people built an entire stage for 1 black man to rap/sing about ghetto shyt) and a loss (dude is seriously semi-lip syncing????? white people are going in on our music... which is cool but then also allow for us to OWN whatever record company pays for all th Future promos..)

Molly was not poppin in urban areas before it started to be promoted in hip hop music. Drug dealers where I live just started selling molly in the past 5 years.
Because before Molly it was ecstasy, and that shyt was being used by black folks too way back when I was in high school :flabbynsick:

As the old saying goes, ain't nothing new under the sun. Yes, these designer drugs moved over from rave culture, but that's a clear indication of the type of drug use that's prevalent across an entire generation, not just hip hop.

nah, Future is milking a trend in the streets not the other way around.

Just like people said gangster rap had to do with the street shyt going on.
When in fact gangster rap became popular the murder rate started declining around, for example from 2200 year in early 90s in NY to under 500 by the end of the decade. As gangster rap exploded during that period.

Future's music is poisonous, but you could say the same to alot of these rappers glorifying sex, gangs, murder and drug talk. you just can't blame him only. but as of right now the shyt he's rapping about is doing more harm than good.

Yea cause alot of people at my high-school really look up to alot of these rappers. Don't even try to talk bad about em.

The "back in the day" and "this generation" bullshyt is strong with these nikkas. Like where were these concerns when I was watching B.E.T Uncut on a week night in middle school?:gucci: Where were these concerns when I was listening to the OGs moving kilos of coke and busting their guns, while Dragon Ball Z was playing on the TV in the background?:gucci:But god forbid we blame parents for shytty parenting because then we'd be blaming the previous generation as opposed to just blaming rappers and kids since we need to keep the nostalgic, bullshyt, back in my day rose-colored glasses narrative going. Back in your day you had a crackhead uncle, another uncle doing 20yrs in supermax, a cousin who was being molested by another uncle and everyone just turned a blind eye, and mad other family members living their lives in the bottom of a bottle of whiskey. If rap is the problem, then it's always been the problem. Don't act like the shyt just became a problem now because it's not the era you grew up in. If you do want to act like rap just now became the issue then you're gonna have to admit y'all were just that much more fukked up inherently back then to explain all the bullshyt you dealt with despite old school rap apparently being a paragon of good morals and life lessons.:camby:

While black people deny the influence celebrities have, companies hire these rappers for commercials for to sole purpose to influence the youth.

nikkas will make any excuse possible for entertainers that they adore. Mind you, these are mostly suburbanite peckerwoods and mid 90's snot nosed muthafukkas attempting to make these fallacious excuses regarding da influence of media/entertainment.
