Been travelling all day so have listened a few times and have a lot of thoughts lol

First of all, album is dope - RnB vibe for the main body of work is nice and then the hype shyt for the little EP at the end works well….Out My Hands, Nights Like This, Red Leather :wow:

Second of all, Drake gotta fight these dudes at this point….a diss track ain’t gonna be enough loool - they’ve made back to back albums where the theme of the whole album is to get your shyt off against Drake :russ:

Drake must have done some super fukkery though because it’s indicative that Future who has been his main collaborator has curated two albums and the main features are people who Drake has extended his hand and helped (Kendrick, The Weeknd, A$AP) sending the most blantant shots possible at him outside mentioning his name

“For All the Dogs” dropped in October 2023 to mixed reception. Many of Drake’s recent projects have been criticized and meet with mixed to poor reception, and down the road do not show much longevity. If Drake is the person being referenced, A$AP would be making fun of the fact that Drakes albums “come and go” and are not being listened to or focused on over time.

:wow:
While this may be true, Rocky shouldn’t be the one to bring this up - he can’t even get a release date for him albums

Lmao right. Rocky was already going up before Drake ever had any involvement with him. Drake more than likely gave him some props and kind words back then, but he had zero to do with his actual rise. But I am surprised Drake didn’t attach himself to him early on like a parasite like he’s normally done with up and coming artists. He’s currently on Sexxy Red right now :mjlol:
Rocky was making noise on the independent scene with Long Live A$AP but fukking Problems (regardless of the opinion of the actual song) put him on the map in terms of mainstream

And I’m pretty sure that track was also produced by 40

Yeah drake had little to do with it, the only hit I can think of that they were on together was fukkin problems and that song wouldve been a hit with or without drake
Lol no it wouldn’t - people paid attention to it because Drake was on the track and Drake’s boy 40 produced it
