people wrote him off at Monster. and that FBG tape before that was lukewarm...dudes were reluctant to accept Monster as a good project, but let it digest, and it grew on em. it was diff sound from honest, so its atleast understandable. I don't think he's topped it since. 56 nights came close though

What bothers is me is that most of these guys didn't think Monster was so great until word of mouth spread

There was no huge amount of fanfare when Monster dropped

They calling Purple reign trash but when they start hearing it every where we are going to get the "slept on" comments

I still remember the week 56 nights dropped. nikkas slept for a good month. And then it hit everyone.
