Nore said that?
Yep, 4 min mark

This was in january of last year and future and drake hadnt worked with each other since a while before that. iirc the last track they had together was wait for you in may 22. And it seems there was drama in how that came about too. Future was the only verses on the song. Tems team wouldnt clear the sample for him. So he hit up Drake to talk to her and get it cleared. Somehow Drake ends up on the song after that. It was rumored she wouldnt clear it w/o him on it.

Here Jacob says future had 2 verses on the song originally.

She and her manager denied everything and said they cleared the sample immediately and Jacob never spoke to her at the grammys. I believe Jacob, there is no reason for him to lie about that :yeshrug:

those quotes funny as hell, read the interview in full

not one person stood ten toes down on their words in this beef
even Kendrick softball interview and explanation of Not Like Us was corny

this shyt really all boils down to that 21 and Drake project?

basically

Drake didn't want to do another album with Future yet, it was 21's turn
Drake wanted Trance for himself and Metro said nah so Drake took his verse off it and Metro's album had no Drake feature

Metro is very vocal about thinking his album is better than the Drake/21 album

Future moved to Miami and started fukkin with all the women Drake fukk with when he's there
Drake fukks one of Future's girls and made a song about it on For All The Dogs but people thought it was an ode to Future

the relationship Metro and Future had with the XO camp was probably the final push though

then on the other side Kendrick and Drake started throwing shots at each other again in 2002, the whole ordeal of Cole trying to get Kendrick on that song and him and Drake's text/DM convo goes a way, the song still come out on Drake's album, Kendrick does his Like That verse and boom, shenanigans.

It’s really sad that the only 2 people standing 10 toes down on what they said are Kendrick and Aubrey.

Everybody else have been throwing rocks and hiding their hands.
