They don't want his stanbase all up in their timelines, or diss songs playing in every club, on the radio while their moms is driving and at NFL games and shyt. Other than that people seem to like him as a person cause he puts on for hella people and dikkrides. But I feel that he fukked up some relationships like with the two OGs Jay and Puff and had to say, either I'm a bytch or I go for that top spot. Which is making him a target, nikkas hate black winners. Specially cocky ones.
The big difference between Drake and say a MC Hammer is that Drake has been getting the serious reviews, he's been the most relevant for 7 years already and he's at his biggest right now, his rap skills have been celebrated by nearly all dope legends and taste makers, even Budden himself.

Why does everyone over complicate this thing? It's simple, if other people write your lyrics then you are a fukking clown in terms of being an MC and should never be taken seriously as a lyricist ever. Does that mean you're not a great performer? No. Does that mean you're not a hit maker? No. It just means you don't deserve any credit for your bars at all since you're not writing them. Meek Mill, as much of a clown as he is, is the only one who has communicated this shyt accurately this whole time, everything he said when he initially started the beef was 100% on point, and to call Drake out about it was some true, authentic hip hop shyt, in any other era Meek would have been praised for that. Hip hop is something else now tho, only in this era can Drake survive and flourish after being exposed like that, shyt is sad.
That's what I don't understand, since when are people demanding response from people who diss you without io reason at all. A reality show dude that talks about you on a podcast every week for over a year.
The only reason he's continuing is cause these are his most attention he's getting since Pump it up.

Also only 0.0001% of hiphop fans believes that Drake has had more help than certain bars and flows on certain songs, mostly his mixtape. Or that he's had conceptual help on other songs just like everyone who doesn't produce and write their shyt all on their own like J. Cole. While the bars was wrong, it was ignorant trap type of songs on a mixtape, people forgave him for that pretty quick. He know knows that it wasn't appreciated.
