The longest running myth in hip hop history.
Pigtails are called DAYTON BRAIDS.
Most of the funk bands Californians worship, the very foundation of the west coast hip hop sound bed, are from ohio. Dayton rims? Made in Ohio.
Y'all slow talking, laid back, palm tree ass nikkas always write yourselves into stories, this is o e that's not true. All because of that wack ass mary mary song. Caccent ass nikkanerds, beat it.
PS, they rapped like that before they even stepped foot in ACTUALLY COUNTRY AND SLOW California.

No actually he is probably right. It is hard to figure when out when Funk started, but James Brown and George Clinton was somewhere near the center of it.
How George Clinton Made Funk a World View

Now Bootsie Collins was born in Cincinnati, but he did not invent funk.

:comeon: You’re incorrect as well... I see I’m discussing music with people who really don’t know music... funk music has a distinctive chord structure and rhythm that ORIGINATED in NEW ORLEANS Wayyyyyy before there was a James Brown, George Clinton, or Bootsy Collins... those three and more EVOLVED the sound, they didn’t create it...

And I take back my previous post... Jazz did originate in New Orleans.
