Almost 47 year old rock vs almost 42 year old Brock :snoop:. There’s legit no pay per view they try to make good at any point in the year anymore. Rock vs Roman would’ve been a disaster too :mjlol:. Do they just not have any sort of long term plan besides feed everyone to Roman to no success with the crowd and now that he’s gone just have Brock splatter someone and then vanish for a few months, leaving raw with no world title to compete over? We don’t need rock headlining anyway when he wouldn’t be there often either and new guys need to get over. This spring will mark 20 years since he headlined his first time and 6 years since his last match. He hasn’t been a full time guy since the spring of 2002. That was 16 and a half years ago now. How does nobody call Vince out on this shyt?
Rockand roman would have been fun tho

How? It wouldn’t have been any different than twice in a lifetime. In fact it probably would’ve been a mashup of Roman vs Brock at wrestlemania where Roman kicks out of a million finishers and twice in a lifetime where the only reason the match is happening is to give Roman yet another big win and another passing of the torch moment that nobody wanted to see, just like in 2013.

I can’t imagine why anyone would want to be on raw these days. It’s a garbage barge just floating adrift with no captain. Is smackdown still doing the shyt where the champ isn’t closing the show too?

Yup. DB close the show last Tuesday tho. They gotta put the championship back on raw. Stroman should have been champion

Of course, but the point is that nobody thought HBK would come out of retirement until the Saudi bag happened.

Difference is Rock is in a completely different situation than Shawn tho. He’s got movies, tv, his own production company, and a lot of studios depending on him not getting hurt while wrestling. That quick check Vince will write him has nothing on the long term money he’s getting now and possibly forfeiting just for a couple matches. With Roman I can see him doing it cause it’s family. But why do it for Brock or anyone else?

All I care for the Rumble is AJ vs Bryan in a 2/3 Falls match or something :feedme:

Yup. If Rock does this kind of comebacks, it's because he actually wants to do them. The Cena feud was because his momma wanted to see him wrestle again and he was teflon in Hollywood to the point it wouldn't hurt him. Once he is willing to do something, then money begins being a factor. But it's not like Vince can call him up, give him a number a make Rock think about it, it's the other way around.

Only reason I could picture Rocky accepting a Brock match is him seeing this as this as his last Wrestlemania match, and I don't think that' the case at all.

Sure, but again, my point is that currently Vince is clearly willing to drop a bigger bag than before. Whether that bag is big enough for the Rock in his current situation is a different matter, but now is the biggest and best offer that Vince can give him before the costs of the XFL really start to rack up.

Brock and Shawn can only dream of the Rock's value. Rock has generated over 1.5 billion in receipts a couple of years str8...made over $128 million in one year as the highest paid actor in the world. He makes more than Vince McMahon a year. So if he's amused, he'll do the match. If he doesnt like the specifics, he will kindly tell them to "kick rocks".
