As long as she was aware that they were recording an interview the court would side with the interviewer and who filmed it. She can only own her responses.

They probably hope the guy doesn't have money to fight it and hands over ownership of the footage. They don't have a case otherwise.

I thought it was common knowledge that you can be photographed/recorded in public.

Your suppose to get a consent/waiver signed otherwise you should blur them out. Many a time people too lazy/takes too much effort to do that and when you're in a busy street.
