It was the same thing for me til i got older. 80s babies caught the sequels then had to back track. The 1st star wars i saw was return of the jedi so imagine my face when i went back and saw the first 2

:ohhh:
def havent seen them since ive been an adult. i'll have to revisit. i bet part 2 is trash and i a e n o it :snoop:

I've been watching GB 2 on AMC (I'm not sure why because I own it), but I have to wonder what happened in those 5 years to make everyone think the GB were frauds. Walter Peck must have put some overtime in on that. :wow: dikkless bytch. :lolbron:

:lolbron: I remember in the first one that EPA guy said THEY was the reason for the ghosts being there....

I'm like :snoop: You can't be serious...

I watched both again last night as well..Part 2's comedy is much more on point than the 1st one.The first one is easily the better movie but Part 2 is hilarious to me.I was laughing out loud through the whole thing.

It was the same storyline from the first movie except it had lazier direction and performances, it had none of the original's charm, the humor was dumbed down and it was obsessed with product placement. It was wretched.

Going too overboard, when they controlled the statue of liberty downtown, shyt was epic.. but you right there were more quotables in Part 1

I thought it was dope too

As an 80s baby, my first knowledge of Ghostbusters was the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, which I loved and had the toys for.

One day late late 89 at just 5 years old I see this movie on TV (we had one of those bootleg channels where they played newly home videos :mjlol:) I see the courtroom scene out of nowhere and these dudes put on potron packs and say "Egon, Peter and Raaaay" and was like :ohhh::whoo: :gladbron: "No way they made a live action Ghostbusters movie and its on TV Now???!" only realizing later it was the sequel and their was a movie before the cartoon:ohhh:

So for me because Part 2 was the first I saw, I always hold it in a special place. Also that soundtrack with Run DMC was probably the first encounter with Hip Hop:blessed:
