I understand yall don't like GGG. I'm not a fan either and for a while I thought Canelo would beat him but there is no other reason for them not to fight at this point other than politics getting in the way.

So fukk who needs to go up to 160 or come down to 155. shyt shouldn't matter either way. Just fight.

There you go with the politics again.
If you don't like politics, watch ufc. Boxing is evolving into a sport that is primarily fueled politics. It what it is. The only ones to blame is the fans. Y'all let hateweather and moses get rich by avoiding one another. Get used to superfights taking years to happen or flat out not happening (like 97g vs sog)

I partially agree. But that doesn't make the shyt right. My biggest problem is how we goen shyt on GGG for tryna fight Floyd about a year ago but let Canelo slide for fighting Amir Khan? I'm almost hoping that GGG will go ahead agree to drop the weight just to see what happens afterwards. I almost feel like there will be another excuse for GB to come up with.

And I kinda don't blame Oscar for tryna protect his cash cow but how long do you avoid the elephant in the room?

That's not even the same thing breh:heh:

lil g said he would fight anyone from 154-168, and then changed it to only Floyd at 154 and only Froch at 172. Canelo is saying, "ok, well then meet me at 155 since it's between the 154-172 gap you stated you'd face anyone at:ld:" and it's "you have to fight me at the full 160 limit:whoa:" just like when SOG said "ok, well them meet me at 168:ld:"
and it was "nah...you have to fight me at a catchweight of 164:whoa:"

Canelo, on the other hand, has said he wouldn't fight ANYONE above 155lbs or under 154lbs (only for a Junior Middleweight Championship) ever again. Khan said "okay, well I wanna test my skills. Let's fight at a catchweight beneath 154:ld:" and it was "You know the rules lil nykka....155 or beat it:ufdup:" in response from Canelo.

One of them is living by their word....the other is changing their word based on who steps up to challenge them:mjpls:

I wonder whom is who?:jbhmm:

Just becuz the circumstance is different doesn't mean the rules shouldn't apply. He fought a man two divisions below him. Yall tryna flip and that shyt aint cool. He holds the middleweight championship. Fight middleweights.

Breh, how could the same rules apply when the circumstances are different?:dwillhuh:

One is not like the other.

Canelo is not fighting ANYONE who refuses to weigh in at 155 unless it's for the Junior Middleweight Championship in which has to be held at a limit of 154 at max.

lil g is CHANGING who he's willing to fight between 154-168 based upon opponent who calls him out.

Again:

lil g: I'll fight anyone from 154-168:birdman:

Canelo: I'm willing to face you at 155:ld:

lil g: Nah, it has to be at 160 for you:whoa:

Why would you say you're willing to face anyone through a 154-168, and when you're taken up on YOUR offer you laid....the weight moves up/down depending on who's asking?:jbhmm:

Canelo hasn't ever done that.

No, he fought a Middleweight. Khan didn't weigh in at 147 or under...he was a Middleweight against Canelo, unless you were saying that Cotto defended his belt against someone who was 1 division below him when he faced Canelo:mjpl:

Can he at least get some fights in as Champion before you take this type of tone?:dahell:

You acting like he's fought 5-6x as Champ against non-middles:what:

He's only had 1 fight as WBC Middleweight Champion, and it was a voluntary match, which means he picked the biggest $$$ fight he could make which turned out to be Khan. Maybe he should've defended the Championship against Ousmana Adama, Gabriel Rosado, or Makota Fuchigama, and you'd be happy about it:heh:

Funny you weren't complaining when Cotto was catchweighting everyone when he was the Champion at 160 though:sas1:

Cotto fought Daniel Geale at a 157 catchweight and that was cool....I guarantee that Geale had a much harder time making 157 than Khan had making 155:sas2:

I understand your frustrations though because you are forced to live with the facts that the #CaneloCartel has sent 2 of your favorite fighters to the bushes in back to back fights:wow:

It's for unification. Why not just fight at 160? Especially if that shyt in the fight thread was true about him damn near drying out.

See here you go. I didn't bring up anything about #MessicanZero tweeting like woman while licking the burrito stain off his shirt the other day. :heh:

There's always gonna be "rumors" of Canelo and his weight....but yet, he doesn't ever miss weight, and it never affects him on fight night:manny:

Canelo doesn't care about the belt. He will not fight lil g unless it's at 155. So with that being understood, what do you want?

  1. Canelo vs lil g to fight?
  2. lil g to become WBC Champion

If you want #1...that only happens at 155. Canelo is hinting around to yall that he will drop the belt, because he doesn't fight for belts. He fights for competition, and he feels that 155 is his premium weight right now, so anyone that faces him would have to weigh in at 155. Canelo is willing to fight lil g, but only at a 155 catchweight:manny:

If you want #2...that will happen as long as lil g keeps on insisting on fighting at 160. Canelo will not agree to those terms and will drop the WBC belt, and still be considered the Lineal Middleweight Champion of the world:yeshrug:
