But since you were being sarcastic and "making a point" its all good right? :aicmon:

If someone constantly preached non-violence, and then punched you in the face, would you be cool with it if they said "o i was just being sarcastic and getting a point across"? Get the fukk outta here

I don't know what to tell you, yeah it is ok because I was being sarcastic, I wasn't calling anybody ******, I'm not sure why its so hard to understand the difference, like I said I dont even use the word nikka, you can check my record

And btw I do also preach non violence, but I will also punch you in the face in self defense

This entire thread shows the immaturity. Name calling, insults. This is higher learning. Take that nonsense to the Booth or Locker Room
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like I said. How would you like it if some guy tried to make a fool out of you in public. You would not because it's disrespectful. That's what Carson did.
I do t know what to tell you, I added the link to the actual thread, I don't see how anybody could miss the sarcasm, I can't help you with reading comprehension
I don't even call my fellow african american brothers and sister nikka so i certainly wouldn't be calling them ******
But you did, though. Your argument for "nikka" was that even if the word isn't intended in a racist manner, and even if it is used in attempted positivity, it shouldn't be used, and that you can't have it both ways. That's fine, but that means you can't turn around and say your own use of the word escapes your own criteria. By your own standards, you were wrong to do it.
I think you are smoking crack, I was making a sarcastic comment, I didn't call anybody a ******, the poster had already called people house ******s in other threads and I was playing off that
I think you are trying to say that the word can't be use period, I never said that, right now we are discussing the word ****** so it's appropriate to use ******, the poster had already called people house ******s so i sarcastically said, hey you forget to call people house ******s
What I said its wrong for black people to call themselves ****** or nikka, and my post was a sarcastic comment to register my objection, I don't see how anybody can read that and not comprehend that
:laff:@twism's blatant obstinacy in the face of self-contradiction. This is like the time when he told me it's foolish for anyone to be trying to define blackness while posting with a link in his sig that said "Egypt was a black land."
Man your racial rage is fascinatingly convenient
barack is the president of the american public, not the black american public. if we as a people are to ever wrest ourselves from this emasculating system, we have to begin looking at ourselves as part of this nation - not as a separate entity entitled to special privileges. whining about the complexion of barack's cabinet makes us look petty. as long as the policy (affordable care act, holder's defense of affirmative action, etc.) is on point, i don't care about the racial constitution of the man's cabinet.
Barack is the president of the US, but his landslide victory in 2008 was due largely in part to the high turnout of a black constituent he has essentially turned his back on
You talk about looking at ourselves as part of this nation... the myriad of special interest groups Obama has let run wild in his tenure (big banks + military) do no such thing. Tea Party and religious right do no such thing. The minority groups with power + clout (Latinos & Asians) attained such by leveraging their individual strengths and banding together internally, not "aligning with the mainstream".
I just find it bizarre that you scream "HOUSE ******" for some dude jumping on a talk show, but make all kinds of excuses for the declines in the black community brought on either by inaction or the result of the Obama administration. Which is worse :ld:
Like I said elsewhere you're a convenient revolutionary who undermines yourself with your misplaced anger and hyperbole :yeshrug: You dont know who to be mad at
:facepalm:
before the aca, millions of poor blacks had no access to adequate healthcare, outside of visiting the emergency room. right NOW, millions of poor blacks have access to adequate healthcare before of provisions that have since been implemented thanks to the aca.
holder, the attorney general, has waged an admirable and - shown recently - successful campaign in defense of affirmative action. challenges against it, because of holder's civil rights division, have been either shot down or overturned.
black women in the workforce, along with their white counterparts, are now strengthened by the lily ledbetter act's protections.
i don't attribute the decline in black living standards to barack, because i'm well informed about what he has done in the past four years. i attribute it to the same white racism that existed before he took office in the white house, white racism that has increased to a near violent pitch.
let's agree to disagree.
Of course you don't. What influence does a president have over the country he governs?
kermit "da hustla": Well it depends. Is he black or white?
What you said was that no one can have it both ways and use the word selectively, which is exactly what you did.
wow, this post is quite pathetic
dont try to put words in my mouth
my argument was that black people should not call ourselves nikkas and then the retort by other people was that nikka is a positive word, and in response to that retort i said that that is bogus and i did say something to the effect that you cant be selective and i said the idea that ****** can be used in a positive way is silly
but my position was that black people shouldn't call themselves nikkas or ******, unless you find a post of me calling somebody nikka or ****** you havent shown my to be contradicting myslef
my point about having a selective definition was that ****** had only one definition, and its a negative definition
so i have never called anybody a ****** or nikka and i was not being selective about the definition of the word
you are either corny or dumb, how is me making a sarcastic comment about kermit calling somebody a house ****** mean that im saying its ok to call people house ******s or that im being selective about the definition of the word ******
the reason i said it was sarcastic is not because i wanted to be selective about the definition, its to say that i was not calling anybody else ****** as kermit did, the whole point of my sarcasm was to say calling people house ******s is wrong, but my bad for the sarcasm going over your head
