he did daredevil
no he didn't
he did daredevil
Supposedly he's working on some hockey movie that he claims is his last film. Disgusting. This fat fukk needs to end his career the very same way it began... with remakes and sequels being the go to trend for Hollywood right now, might as well complete the cypher and give us one last go round with one of, if not the greatest duo in comedy history..
and nah, I'm not talkin about Jay and Silent Bob
I'm talkin bout Randall and Dante I want Clerks III my brehs. Even if it disappoints, at least we can say we fukkin did it.
Edit: and I know some of you hate sequels but fukk it, what else does this fat slob have to offer outside of another Clerks? His non view askewniverse movies fukkin suck, although I did think Zack and Miri was good for a couple laughs.
I just watched Chasing Amy last week, and thought it was Kevin Smith who introduced me to Degrassi and that whole Comic Con movement, before they became popular.
He can't go out on some hockey movie.
Red State is the greatest thing I've seen from Smith.
He doesn't seem to have the technical expertise to make something really high concept and/or high budget. He admits himself how poor he is at this kinda stuff. After watching Red State which was...idk...I'd be interested to see his take on some other movie types. Hockey movie makes sense since dude is clearly a hockey fan, but dude is also clearly a huge sci-fi fan...I think he could probably make a really different, entertaining sci-fi flick.

Honestly, after watching his movies, can you imagine him putting together say, Minority Report?
Not that those kinds of movies are better...they just take a different part of the brain. I hate Transformers, but I can't deny that Bay has to have a specific skill set to do what he does. It seems like a skill set that Smith would fail at.
Would I watch though? Sure.
And hey, Red State did some decent action so who knows.
no he didn't
pretty much, alto it definitely wasnt as memorable as the first one, and it tried hard to imitate the first one...Clerks 2 was surpringly good. A lot of cult movies that do sequels end up trying to be to much like the first. Clerks 2 had the right combination of the magic the first one had while being its own movie. It's also the last k.smith film I've liked
