Supposedly he's working on some hockey movie that he claims is his last film. Disgusting. This fat fukk needs to end his career the very same way it began... with remakes and sequels being the go to trend for Hollywood right now, might as well complete the cypher and give us one last go round with one of, if not the greatest duo in comedy history..



and nah, I'm not talkin about Jay and Silent Bob



I'm talkin bout Randall and Dante I want Clerks III my brehs. Even if it disappoints, at least we can say we fukkin did it.

Edit: and I know some of you hate sequels but fukk it, what else does this fat slob have to offer outside of another Clerks? His non view askewniverse movies fukkin suck, although I did think Zack and Miri was good for a couple laughs.

Id rather leave randall and dante alone. first movie is a timeless classic to me and second one was solid. I dont think he can pull a third one out of his ass again....the first one was a late 80s/early 90s movie and second one barely pulled off being relevant in terms of time frame....

so yea I just think if he does clerks 3 its not finna be very good.

you say clerks II was solid, but I feel it was more than that. its absolutely one of my favorite comedies ever. I know damn near that entire movie word for word. love that shyt.

and I don't doubt Kevin Smith. He has his fair share of misses, but I pretty much love all his view askew shyt. Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II...I adore all em. There may be some magic left.

if he's really calling it quits after some stupid hockey movie, that shyt better have every familiar cameo ever from Scott Mosier to fukking Hooper X

^ I thought this ending was fantastic but aside from that and John Goodman's (always reliable) performance, Red State felt pedestrian.

Still a fan. He's a unique voice in the film industry and I'd like him to keep making films.

After watching Red State which was...idk...I'd be interested to see his take on some other movie types. Hockey movie makes sense since dude is clearly a hockey fan, but dude is also clearly a huge sci-fi fan...I think he could probably make a really different, entertaining sci-fi flick.
