So it is what it is....alot of Brets..some trying to claim Japanese knowledge but of course there is one glaring omission over personal reasons and an obvious pretense to act like he never existed. Amusing though.

:russ: I KNOW this nikka ain't trying to have Rock's name included in this debate

Bret - Can extract a solid match out of anyone. His storytelling/crafting of matches added to his superior working ability.

96/97 heel Austin
Perfect

All not only were great technically, but the ability to construct matches to look as realistic as possible by their selling, pace and overall crispness when executing.

Even in your trolling, u missed the point and who I was truly referring to.

but of course there is one glaring omission over personal reasons and an obvious pretense to act like he never existed. Amusing though.

When I was a kid, I thought Bobby Eaton was the best worker until I saw Chris Benoit come in and crush the buildings. Some of my favorite workers growing up, tho, are:

Bobby Eaton
Chris Benoit
William Regal
Jushin Liger

And then way later,

Bryan Danielson
Super Dragon
KENTA
Samoa Joe

Barring injury I think Bryan Danielson/Daniel Bryan is probably going to be tops on my list when it's all said and done. Kid is everything great about Hart and Michaels all rolled into one with a little Warrior mixed in. :mindblown:

Bret was my dude (heel or face) and heel Austin (Stunning to early Rattlesnake days) was a close second. Regal, HBK, Benoit, Eddie, Finley, Savage and Perfect were some of my favorite workers. And I think if Brock would have stayed he was well on his way to being one of if not THE GOAT in terms of work rate and believability. Dude was/is a phenomenal athlete.
