Mangini called it the other day on TV too that it was about him looking for a new deal since he was getting like only ~$19M a year :russ:

Also, an L for Cincy and Dallas as Chase and Micah's numbers went up more with Myles deal

Cincy's owner and Jerry gotta be the dumbest shot callers in sports. The market does not wait just because you say no. Cowboys could have given Parsons 35mil a year ago. Cincy could have signed Higgins at 22mil a couple years ago or simply traded him. Chase could have been signed a year ago. Now they gotta meet the higher market rates just because they dithered.

Man shout out to Nicole Lynn. Getting her players 120 million contracts. She got Jalen hurts as a client winning superbowls. Started off with Young Money, used that exp to get with Klutch sports. I know Drew Rosenhaus is the big name. But Lynn might be the best agent right now

Reality here is Browns should have cashed in on him now but they're the browns and did the Browns thing and signed him to a mammoth contract. Dude is a beast though but still this is very Browns-ish and props for him getting paid.

The Browns wasn't going to get equal value for Myles and trading him would have hurt their cap more than helped. The extension works because Myles get more $$$ and a no trade clause to have leverage down the line while the FO have extra cash to spend and more time to convinced Garrett to stay.

two first round picks and a third or second ain't really moving the needle on a rebuild. those players might add up to the total impact of garrett

they need a qb, get it right in the draft and all the problems become a lot smaller. if they get top 15 play out of their rookie I firmly believe they are a playoff team. the o-line is getting older and just ok so they need to restock there, they are also thin at linebacker with JOK's future up in the air right now

there aren't any gaping holes on the team right now, their best guys are aging so they just need to draft well until they're out under the shadow of deshaun's contract
