Of course the ATL
Bruh you were one of the tank commanders. This is what you wanted. This organization will be bad for the next 5-10 years. Congrats :francis:

No that's @#1 pick and his endless lists of prospects & @Sly Cookin who wanted this. When Schlenk was hired it marked a shift in this organization. Under Bud as the president/coach this team was seen as a fringe contender, under Schlenk it's a complete tear down. If you remember I was against trading Dwight, I was mad we didn't make a better effort to get rid of WOAT, I didn't like that we weren't even close to being competitive on deals with THJR or Millsap.

This team as currently constructed isnt even what Schlenk had hoped based off the GS model. If you remember he said in GS they were still a 30-35 win team as they accumulated Steph, Klay and Draymond in the draft. This team won't win 20 games. So to answer your question is this what I wanted: No. I like winning too much, but I understood that this team/franchise needed a reboot

:mjlol: at being pleased with us playing hard. Breh these are professionals, they're supposed to compete at a minimum. I know this team is bad but let's expect more out of this team than just "playing hard"
Yu wanna us to win? I sure don't. I really only care about how the young guys are doin tbh :yeshrug:

I don't like to lose breh :yeshrug:

I get why we're in this position and I'm trying to be constructive about what we're seeing but 3-15 is brutal. This shyt is tough to watch

I know what yu mean the best way I get thru it is watch college b ball and look at some of the top prospects. That's how I got thru it when were a constant lottery team

I love the losing. The team is playing hard and the young guys are getting better. I cant ask for anything more.

I dont want to rack up a couple meaningless wins that takes us out of first dibs in the nba draft.

The offense has looked great with subpar talent and we are 2nd only to golden state in 3pt percentage.

This team is playing these games so closely that I want them to dangle dedmon and bellineli for future 1st round picks near the trade deadline

We prolly can get a 1st for one of em and then attach that first with Baze to get him out of here. It's a shame it would take all that to get rid of him tho

:dwillhuh: Set brehs i thought we were gonna come together in these times.

Tbh I'm enjoying watching this team wayyyy more than last year team. Howard sap and snitzel core wasn't about shyt just a waste of a hawk watching year. Very predictable and bounced in the first round. We are 4th all time in playoff appearances with nothing to show for it. I'm tired of winning and not be good enough. There's only one way to win big and that's have a superstar via the draft

And guess what. When we get the #2 pick in the draft we gonna be ass AGAIN and hopefully get the #4 pick in 2019. Be patient brehs. We've been in the playoffs most our lives save for the early 2000s.

Either way I'm loving this team. When moose and baze are gone and we unlock some real talent in bud U you'll be thankful we didn't reup sap and Timmy only to start this process in 2021:blessed: my unborn son will see a hawks championship:blessed:

Do any of you seriously think Bud will be here long enough to see this rebuild turn around? Keep in mind what's happened to him:

-He got demoted back to just being a coach within this yr
-Remained silent this summer when Schlenk came on board, BTW I still don't think they're on the same page
-He's gonna be in for alotta losing and Bud has never been in a situation where his teams have lost like this or been this bad

I think Bud knows he has an owner who changes his mind as often as the wind blows and he has a GM who wants to build the team differently than he wants to coach it. I could see Bud resigning by next summer at the absolute latest

But it is a top-five coach at worst already has rings and his cement to himself as a player development guru. I don’t see him leaving in a situation where he just a fully maximize his skill set. He turned a team of average to good players into the best team in the league imagine if you actually get superstar talent. I don’t see but leaving when the talent starts to arrive. But that’s just me

I see the state of the organization as more of a reason for Bud to want out than developing young talent. I'm not sure he trusts Ressler (his comments before the playoffs last season, his decision not to resign Horford & the decision to keep Millsap at last season's trade deadline) or Schlenk to have his best interests at heart and at some point, maybe not now, maybe not this season, the losing is going to grate on him. It would be impossible not to. So we'll see, but I think it's an optimistic view to think a top 5-10 coach would be cool to be a part of a long term rebuild after he just got demoted.
