Dude was talking about Rodney King clearly as he mentioned getting beat up, I think Broner got the name wrong which is common to mix up names.

I know its only 1 fight but it didn’t look like Cunningham made any difference in AB’s corner. He didn’t listen to anything he said and didn’t look he improved on anything

That's what I'm thinking, as there's not really any documented footage of MLK getting beat up severely, and I know for sure AB didn't get that information from a documented text as he doesn't come off as the reading type. So Rodney King seems most plausible heck both Rodney's and Malcolm's names end with King which for some people can cause a mix-up.

AB also relies entirely too much on the Philly shell defense which he lacks true knowledge of how/when to use it during a fight, not to mention Broner has horrible footwork & head movement.
