Wild seeing Bron turn into a Bronette, standing around the 3 point line watching someone else do all the work in hopes of the ball being swung around to him.
Nah that’s not all what happens, and it’s honestly beautiful

Teams consistently trap and double Luka, and that gives Lebron an 4v3 situation and he’s either cutting or if the ball does swing to him he’s one of the elite catch and shoot 3 guys in the game lol over the past 2 years. There’s a stat that he’s top 5 in that category

It’s a “pick your poison” situation

The crazy thing is that neither have actually had a good game together yet

I'd like to think they are saving Luka/Bron pick and roll.
Bron really isn't posting up for real so maybe thats being saved as well.

However, the pick and roll should be a must. Kyrie and Bron didn't run it all the time, but it was pretty tough to stop. Luka being a better passer should have them do it more.

The thing is you can also do the same with Reaves if you need to

Something the Lakes have been doing is experimenting with Hayes and Vando being a “playmaker” when they end up trapping Luka in the middle.

I’m actually pretty impressed with both guys in how they can swing to an outlet. Hayes can actually finish in that situation, Vando still needs work but at least he makes the right play

I'm shytting on DFS after that, @Codeine Bryant :scusthov:
You brought him in to be a quiet, efficient 3&D.
You got Luka to close games.

Dorian shouldn’t even be in the position to blow a layup late in the game. Only reason he got that backdoor cut and feed from Bron was because Luka was deferring so Bron could get his points milestone.

It’s fine for now, but Luka has to have the ball in his hands in clutch time when playoffs come around. Bron gotta take a backseat for once in his career.

Nah the beauty of him, Bron, and Reaves are that any of the 3 can have the ball in their hands towards the end of games

It makes sense to have any of the 3, but Luka is the worst off ball of any of them so that’d be one of the main reasons to have him with the ball. But it worked with him and Kyrie trading back and forth too

Bron on the way to the WCF was having DLO and Reaves be the initiators for late game scenarios during that run lol. Austin Reaves got his “I’m him!” moment BECAUSE LeBron deferred

Luka gotta be taking the shots in clutch time, though. He’s a generational closer even more than he is a generational player. But yes, he can work alongside other ballhandlers just fine.
