I hate it but it might be time. The only thing is we don’t have the pick from this year so tanking off the table. Next year might be it. The roster lacks too much right now and there isn’t much flexibility.

The good thing is the west is super matchup dependent so a playoff run is still on the table tbh. I think we are still far off from the big contenders though like the Celtics will shoot us out the gym.

Really the issue is what it's always been. Lack of athleticism in the backcourt, and no solid big man option besides AD. Been that way since the 2021, and there hasn't been a single move to alleviate those problems besides signing DS (which on a discount deal helped us to a WCF run so the proof is right there)

Yep,starting cac Reaves is not a winning formula.


You need as much athleticism and defense around Lebron and AD as possible.

Ideally you want Lebron to be the worst defender in the starting lineup at this stage of his career.

He’s far and away their best playmaker while also being one of their best rebounders and defenders.. that’s a roster building issue if you want that plan to be effective


It’s sad that he’s still the 1st or 2nd best in those categories while also being elite from 3, when I agree he should be around 30-31 MPG

Yep they need size and defense around Lebron.

They have enough scorers that can give you 30 on a good night in Knecht, Reaves, Rui, and Dlo.

They need to trade 2 of those players and filler for a center an a 2 way guard.
