PUNCH HIM IN THE BELLY AND TAKE HIS SHOES. THAT'S THE ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF.
those cult leaders use the same language as some of Higher Learnings/KTL's postersshow him THIS youtube video ---> Mind Control Cults - YouTube
If you're a Christan, you're in a cult too.
Ironically they are the same people who fall for Republican scams as wellHad some fruity looking dudes at a blockbuster 2 years ago try to recruit me. They looked like they were on something or brainwashed. I wanted to laugh everytime if I believed in mother earth. People who fall for this are the same type of people who fall for Nigerian scams.
I thought I was christian but I can't identify with the religious beliefs they want to force on me everytime I attend a church.
Guess I have to be agnostic for now. I defintely believe in some God. The more I delve into christianity or any religion the more I find shyt I have to to. Thanks for the insight anyways in this specific situation how would you handle it?
Wow. It's scary how similar mainstream religions are to this.
Socialists are a cult.
From a Christian perspective...
IF he believes and calls himself a christian then the following are not supported by the bible.
1. God being a plurality. A Trinity yes, a singularity yes, but a plurality NO. Ask him to prove this to you through the bible.
2. Ask him f he believes Ahn Sang-Hong is in fact the second coming of Jesus.
If he says NO, then ask him to reconcile that fact that his church does support that doctrine. If he says yes ask him to support it with scripture.
3. Support scripturally the concept of a "Mother god" and the fact that she is the wife of Ahn Sang.
4. Provide scriptural backing to the fact that they believe god divided time into 3 epochs.
IF your friend is a christian he's gonig to have to jump through some seriously flawed (from a scriptural standpoint) hoops to reconcile some of these things.
GL working on my brother right now with the mormon church. It's going well
He's been avoiding me all day which is weird cause he kicks it at the guardshack with me all the time. I told him I was going to show him my sources and now he's all of a sudden to busy to chill.
I straight up told him it's blasphemous to believe any man can be God and the bible says so. He ignores this and wants to concentrate on the prophecy's in revelations that anyone can interpret to mean whatever they want. At the study they pulled off some fancy tricks with the bible to prove a point. I asked him if before he went through all their studies did he research the church. He said no.
Guess I'm going to be driving myself to work from now on. Thanks for the advice.
Pray home boy pray. IF you take the approach of wanting to "save" him his going to turn his back on you, as i'm sure people in his church are telling him.
Ask questions. That's what I do. When I see certain people form certain groups and they stop by my house i start asking questions and start asking them to back things up biblically, even "fancy tricks" as from what i'm reading this church tries to pull off fall apart when fact checked within the bible.
Just make sure you have answers before you start asking questions are you could do more damage than good.
At this point it might be best to NOT say anything for a while and then maybe in a week ask him how church is going, or say something like, "hey I was reading up on your church website and found this, can you help me understand it?"
