Finished watching it yesterday. Season 4 and 5 were dope...but they werent 1-3. The first 3 seasons I felt like I lived among those character. I lost it when Coach walked away from Smash' crib while he told his fam that he got an offer. I lost it when Coach gave him that lil speech/pep talk right before the try out. Those two scenarios were so dope, to watch someone who worked his ass off get everything he wanted...salute to Smash. The first 3 seasons had a nikka like
and i'm not ashamed to say it. The last two seasons were great, but they didn't have the same emotional hold on me. The ups and downs didn't hit me like they did in the earlier seasons. The struggle and triumphs weren't the same to me, but that didn't stop the last two seasons from being great. I think they could have did more with east dillon and the effect the surroundings had on the team and major characters, but it prob. would have been too similar to the wire I guess. If only the characters that left could have stayed till season 5. I want a season 6 and a movie...fukk the bullshyt.
With all that said...
The Son is one of the best 43 mins I have ever seen on tv though, that was some sad shyt the homie had to go through.
Becky would have gotten taken down as soon as I saw her, that is a bad muthafukka. She's on dexter now
Julie Taylor....
Saracin won
*riggins voice* Lyla Garrity
Riggins is a fukkin MAN
I wanna salute all you nikkas for this thread, without it I wouldn't have watched this show, I would have missed out on a classic.
