that Cordae Nas Gibbs song that was supposed to be on the Cordae album after the remake of life is like a dice game dissapeard. Gibbs was talking sideways at Nas in the media since the Grammy win over his album and he got a collab and he still kept talking slick shyt "if Nas wanna be outside rapping rapping he can get it too" type shyt. could be viewed as competition but it kept going and their second collab just vanished. I also didn't like that he refused to follow the format on life is like a dice game chorus. doing his too hard for life act "i can't rap about gambling cuz I don't gamble" ass nikka. He just always looking for issues.
I don’t think he was throwing shots at Nas. He actively praised Nas before, during, and after the Grammys and said straight up that losing to a legend means he’s in good company.
I think the Nas/Cordae/Gibbs track was politics stemming from Gibbs and Benny’s beef. Nas fukks with Griselda and all of them were working with Hit Boy at the time and I don’t think Nas wanted to associate with Freddie while he was wilding on Benny for no apparent reason.

I had static with a “homie” who was dirty macking and smearing my name on some pillow talking shyt to get with a shorty who was fukkin w me.. I feel like every male on this site has been in a situation like this at some point. he was cool with everybody in my friend group, but once I let them know it was static with him, it was UP for everybody. Whole squad said fukk bro, and he been an outsider ever since.

Gibbs and defenders act like that project was some massive moment and was gonna sell a lot if only Spitta had done promo. It's a nine track glorified mixtape fam. What promo was there really going to be, beyond "cop that shyt" tweets and one video? Who cares.
I'm trying to make sense of why he's been talking about this shyt for years. Only thing I can come up with is that he wanted the project to do better as a leverage point. The following year he signed to RCA and dropped Bandana. Perhaps in his mind if Fetti had done better he would have gotten a better deal. Still a dumb reason to be mad about a project that was never gonna sell crazy though...
