Does anything that's happened over the last few years (since Fetti) given the impression that Gibbs and Spitta talk like that though? I doubt they've spoken this year. Plus Spitta and Jim Jones have worked together multiple times, it's not like this is the first time. That's what makes Gibbs' attack even weirder. Nobody supposed to work with Jimmy because he beat your ass and you didn't do shyt?

You don't know people. Currensy was the first person he worked with after that rape case so they must've been close to a certain extent.

People say he never promotes projects but I've seen him do interviews. He even did one with JD for their project so maybe that's why Fred feels slighted.

But there's a common denominator with Freddie Gibbs and rap beef, he starts issues for no reason. He's self destructing and it's sad to see, especially since all his hard work paidoff

Bro how are u comparing what he’s doing now in 2023 to some shyt that happened 5 years ago? I followed Curren$y’s run since he’s one of my favorite rappers. Up until that point. Curren$y was big on lead up promotion. And moves on after the project drops. That was no different. In the lead up to Fetti. He promoted it more than Gibbs did.

Since then (2021), Alch has only worked with Gibbs one time, on Sold Sold Separately from last year. Maybe Spitta didn't view it as a diss, maybe Alch didn't either since they kept the verse. I know we just throwing shyt at the wall but I honestly think it’s people around Spitta that advised him not to get close with Gibbs after that project. Spitta seems like he cool with everyone but I can see his folks saying “not him(Gibbs)” and Spitta taking that advice seriously.

Which is why Gibbs is taking it so personally because they probably never had an argument, so to him it was out of the blue.

Gibbs had to do something that Spitta’s people didn’t like.

And The Marina EP>>>>Fetti…. both came out in 2018
