HBO financed his latest deal with Top Rank. I'd be shocked if he wasn't bound to them after that. I can't see them doing that as a favor and allowing him to fight on whatever network he pleases.I thought he was. I was wrong

He didn't have to re-sign with anyone. Not furious. Just disappointed that he made a move that ensures nothing but sh*tty fights going forward. Could've done what Cotto did.
It aint about what YOU cant see.. Pac isn't exclusive to HBOHBO financed his latest deal with Top Rank. I'd be shocked if he wasn't bound to them after that. I can't see them doing that as a favor and allowing him to fight on whatever network he pleases.
Not asking anyone to care, just sharing my opinion. Cotto became a free agent, got Mayweather, then got a GBP promoted fight, then went back to TR and got two fights...he basically can do what he wants. Pacquiao re-upped so he can fight Charlie Sheen on PPV. It is what it is.Nobody cares you're disappointed. Pac is at the end of his career and was at the verge of retiring after fighting Floyd win or lose.. being a free agent doesnt guarantee anything..signing that deal with TR, you're guaranteed a minimum purse, which was probably substantial. Same reason Bradley resigned... i didn't see you getting emotional when Floydie signed exclusively to Showtime, where were all his options then?? Ghost?
Ok so show me something I can see. Link where, after financing his new contract, HBO says he's free to go to whatever network he pleases? It aint about what YOU cant see.. Pac isn't exclusive to HBO

Pacquiao hasn't fought on Showtime since Mosley but that's not relevant to his new contract which HBO financed. I said I'd be shocked if they financed his new contract and allowed him to fight on another network. You're certain that he can so show proof. I don't think you have any.Nah the burden of proof is on you lil nikka.. We've already seen Pac fight on showtime multiple times, but you go ahead and show us proof Pac is bound by HBO

He was a free agent at the time, regardless of what Floyd's choices were.Cotto got the fight because that was Floyds only option at the time where fighting cotto, the fight would be a big draw where floyd can excercise full leverage and Floyd can dictate all purse and demands

He knew he was never fighting mayweather if he resigned with top rank he did it anyway .he could of did like Floyd and just use tr for certain fights he chose to forever tie himself to TRHe knew what the situation was beforehand and he still signed to Top Rank. He didn't have to choose any side.
Yup. And he fought a GBP fighter after that. Then someone else, then Top Rank. You get my drift. Too bad Manny didn't think of doing the same so we don't get crappy fights like this one.He became a free agent specificly to fight Floyd dummy
It's not just about Mayweather. There are many fighters at 140 and 147 that he would have had available to him instead of someone like Chris Algieria. He knew he was never fighting mayweather if he resigned with top rank he did it anyway .he could of did like Floyd and just use tr for certain fights he chose to forever tie himself to TR
