Looks to me that Gibbs is too honest. I remember when he called The Breakfast Club and said signing Jeezy was a waste of time just before he left. He got with Madlib and went to another level.

He said he wasn't feeling Curren$y's effort on the Alchemist collab. He kicked that nikka to the curb and did his own project with Alchemist and it got Grammy nominated.

Gibbs is 100% taken 50 Cent's blueprint and his success is showing. People saying they don't like him is because he isn't scared to publicly say he's not fukking with nikkas. I bet the Benny situation was some shyt he didn't agree with behind the scenes.

Gibbs never had an issue with Spitta’s bars at all. It was strictly about Spitta not doing music videos or touring for the project.

Not if you actually do the feature and release it. Jadakiss has done some wild features and so has the game. But if you are taking advantage of it I can’t respect it.

Rain910 exposed the person behind the scamming shyt. Artists basically allow the nikka to run the page. The guy promises them either a collab with the artist, or a spot on a mixtape. They end up getting a verse from the artist (sometimes), that the artist never promotes or they get a feature on a mixtape with like 250 other artists on it with the main artist "hosting" it, that they never promote.

That’s not how those scans go. It’s not for a verse. You pay them 500 dollars and they put your verse on a mixtape with a bunch of other unknown rappers that also paid 500 dollars.

The rapper you paid just “hosts” the mixtape. Actually it’s a playlist not even a mixtape. They don’t actually do a verse for you.

Jada and Benny aren’t doing verses for anyone for 500 bucks. They may do verses with friends in the game for free. Or sometimes they just remove your verse lol. that’s how these “dablock365” scams work.

goes back a ways. When they made Fetti with Alchemist, Gibbs didn't feel like Spitta did enough to promote the album. Gibbs wanted to do more videos and stuff for it, and wanted to promote it more.

Spitta said that while he was a little surprised to find out after the fact that Gibbs was so upset by that, that he understood why it bothered Gibbs, and that in general he felt more motivated to push his projects more. Ever since then (around the time of OutRunners in 2020) Spitta started filming a lot more videos for all of his projects. Spitta also mentioned that at first he thought the Alfredo project was going to be another collab between himself, Freddie, and Alchemist...and that he was surprised when he found out Gibbs did it solo.

This month Spitta tweeted that he had never beefed with anyone since his time in the game, and Gibbs replied with a yawning emoji. So Gibbs definitely still feels some sort of way towards Gibbs.



I'm guessing from now on it's safe to assume that Gibbs and Spitta will continue to work with Alchemist, but separately.

Spitta work ethic is unmatched. He looked at it as a side project and was already touring doing other things.....At the time Gibbs looked at it as a breakthough project they were both going to promote and get bags touring with. He was disappointed to see Spitta still just moving on Jet Life time and not pausing to bring Gibbs along for that ride to help increase his base. Gotta remember Gibbs been a break thru artist who just didn't fully crack the door for like 10 years. He needed that look way more than Spitta did. He was basically jelly of Spitta doing his own tours and having his own movement and thought that was gonna be big for him to gain that same type of fanbase or at least get more exposure so he could start doing the same shyt Spitta was already doing. At least that's what it looked like.

Spitta one of the coolest most down to earth out there, I look at people who have issues with him with a extra side eye. I remember when he was bugging on Spitta online a few years ago over it and it looked like homie was really, really looking forward to pushing it as a main dish instead of the side dish Curren$y was treating it like. I think the disappointment stemmed mostly from that like "nikka how you treating this shyt like a appetizer and I'm out here treating it like the main course?"

The thing is Spitta output and touring was already crazy at the time, so you could see why he would view it like that.

FWIW that project was amazing one of Spittas best tapes so I can see how gibbs was like why you aint pushing this.


Still Spitta just smoke weed, push dope whips and make music. Having smoke for him is type goofy no matter who you are.
